Freestyle Bargello Landscape

Add a strong warm colour palette to the walls of your home with this 17″H x 26″W radiant landscape fibre art quilt. Students will get a brief overview of colour theory. They’ll tackle the simple freestyle Bargello-look technique and then quilt the background before preparing the fusible backed tree. (Beware – some intricate cutting, but it’s well worth it!) On day 2 it’s a cutting and fusing frenzy as students learn the ins and outs of transferring a sketch to fusible appliqué to create the tree feature. To finish there is a black on black introduction to straight stitch or free motion quilting.
